Studio 35 Design undertook a bathroom renovation in a period property located in London Fields, blending traditional charm with modern luxury.
Project Highlights
- Complete Strip Out: The existing bathroom suite was entirely removed, allowing for a fresh start while preserving and restoring the original wooden floorboards.
- Space Optimization: To address the cramped feel of the existing bathroom, we utilized the roof space by opening the flat ceiling. This created a vaulted ceiling featuring two Velux windows, significantly enhancing the sense of space and light.
- Bespoke Wall Panelling: Custom wall panelling was installed, adding a touch of elegance and period-appropriate detail to the bathroom.
- Traditional Fixtures: The bathroom was fitted with traditional fixtures, including a stunning cast iron bath that serves as a centerpiece.
- Unique Tiling: Handmade Moroccan tiles were laid in a herringbone pattern, providing a unique and visually striking finish.
